As a temporary workaround, you can force Nextcloud to activate the app regardless of the "official" version compatibility. You can do so in the Apps Webgui under "Deactivated Apps". I did so and it didn't crash my Nextcloud yet :D

Longterm, the appinfo xml needs to be updated. At first glance there should be no breaking changes for this app between NC 24 and 25, so I guess that should be safe to do?

Unluckily, this repo seems to be abandoned, so there is no chance of fixing this until someone will create a fork.

Edit: I have moved to MediaDC that is now up to date with C26 and works great.
