Curious about this one as well, I cannot make it show up in the Right Click/... Button Menu at all, the option doesn't exist.
I confirm, Extract no longer works with NC28. But I don't know if the developer of the app has seen it...
I confirm the same. Extract not working/ showing up with NC28.
There seems no activity regarding this app. :-( There seems to be no alternative to it.

This is why I cannot update one of my NextCloud instances from 27 to 28 actually, as it relies a lot on the Extract software for plenty of ZIP/RAR/whatever.archive files that are hosted there.
+1 I would like to get compatibility, thank you
Not working for me i have installed it but not showing the option to extract in files
To the programmers amongst us (unfortunately, I'm not a programmer), I wonder if a solution similar to the one that fixed the incompatibility of the occweb app with NC28, could also fix the incompatibility of the Extract app with NC28. https://github.com/Adphi/occweb/issues/10#issuecomment-1951430347
Wouldn't it be great if this app was included into Nextcloud core apps? It is very useful!
The issue lies with the outdated extraction.js file, where the registration of the menu entry has not been adjusted for NC28. If someone could take care of that, it would be great. Ideally, the author themselves.
@jancborchardt I am sorry to drag you into this discussion, but I do not know who else to turn to..
Do you think it would be possible to include this app among the Nexcloud core apps?
@elpraga while it would be nice, since it needs additional PHP dependencies anyway, it doesn't seem to make sense to include it in the core apps.
(cc @sorbaugh for reference and input though)
Thank you @jancborchardt for your help and swift answer!
I do find this app very handy, and it would be sad to have to live without it, so I at least tired!
Thank you again for your feedback!
Of course Nextcloud is a community and open source project, and useful apps like these exemplify it. So anyone is welcome to take over maintainership and/or fork the app I assume. :)
That is the beauty of OS! I hope someone does!
Unfortunately, I'm an English teacher, maintaining a PHP app is way beyond my abilities :D

@PaulLereverend can you give us a status on this please? Thx.
Looks like support has been available for every single version of nextcloud up to nextcloud 27 I hope they get this working for nextcloud 28
Hello, Extract app seems to be incompatible with NC28. If it is not compatible, when could the extract app be compatible with NC28? Thanks.
