Hi Paul! *same message I left on the temperature IAF vs obs issue. Hope this helps. I know that is not exactly what you are after, but here you can have a good idea on how seal data (newest product from MEOP) compares to the IAF3. Not sure if there is enough data to do a month-by-month comparison, but you might be lucky if you select Vincennes Bay on the year of 2012 or Shackleton on the year of 2011 (have a look on the Supplementary Material I sent through with my paper draft if you want to make sure it is worth it before putting work on it.)

You can find the data already interpolated to the model grid (z) in here: '/g/data/v45/ns3783/Sha_MEOP_profiles_interpolated.nc'

My code is on my gadi folder: '/home/581/ns3783/Scripts/Shackleton_Project'... but I am not sure you can access it. If not let me know and I'll put it somewhere you can.
