For planning purpose (in response to Delphine's message), I just created weekly/monthly climatology of sea ice concentration, sea ice extent (as 15% SIC), chl-a, and wind and some plots of them and iceberg records. The target area 62-67S / 85-110E. Data extracted from Jan-Apr so until week 17 (end of Apr). In addition, I also made two climatology using data from before/after 2016.
The following is, for example, a comparison between AMSR-based SIC in March between 1979-2015 and 2016-2024:
Data source:
SSMI-based SIC (NSIDC/NOAA CDR, ~25 km, 1979-2023)
AMSR-based SIC (AMSR-E/2 compiled by University Bremen, ~6.25km, 2003-2024)
Ocean color-based chl-a mass (2003-2023)
ERA5 10-m wind
