White space removal and performace issues

Thanks for the latest update in version 1.0.2.

However, I noticed an issue with this update: While typing, trailing white space (spaces, newlines) is regularly stripped away from the end of the note. This is very annoying if you are adding content to the end of the note.

Suggestions:

• Do the updates to the metadata less frequently.
• Only modify the note when something in the medatada has actually changed (i.e. when the feature is switched off or dates stay the same, don't do anything).
• Don't strip white space at the end of the note.

Doing these updates so frequently and unnecessarily is also a performance problem.

I encountered the same issue while using the Notes Dater Plugin.

Exact same problem for me. Using Obsidian 1.5.10.
