Random crashes in Max 5.1.7/8 when Toolbox loaded #5

I really love max toolbox for patching, but I've had to turn it off in MaxMSP
5.1.7 or 5.1.8 on one machine (running OS X 10.5 intel) and in 5.1.8 on another
machine (running OS X 10.6 intel) due to seemingly random crashes while
patching. Once toolbox is unloaded or uninstalled, crashes go away. Most of the
crash logs start with "linklist_critical_enter(_linklist*)…" - I'll attach
some of them from the 10.5 machine (these may not all be max toolbox related,
but I'm pretty sure the majority are because Max does not crash for me much
otherwise).

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have max toolbox loaded in MaxMSP 5.1.8 and sometimes 5.1.7 on OS X 10.5 or
10.6
2. Work on max patches for a while
3. Experience random crashes ~every half hour while patching

Crashes are not necessarily the direct result of using a feature of Max
Toolbox, but usually something innocuous like dragging an object or adjusting a
number box.

Since I removed max toolbox a few weeks ago, crashes have gone away - i can do
a whole day's worth of patching with no crashes.

Its a shame, because max toolbox is really really useful when making large
patches.

Thanks,
Arvid
