enable writing in the text box and filter the results dynamically for each character entered

As I mentioned in the title I'd like to enable writing into the text box and 
filter the results of my check box dynamically at every character entered.

That's not a defect but a very useful feature for large lists.

This is an interesting idea, but implementation will require a fair amount of 
rework to transition from a simple display string in a div to an interactive 
text input field.
I will add it to the wish-list.

Thank you for the reply. I tryed  to add this feature without good results. 

At this link: http://jqueryui.com/demos/autocomplete/#multiple there is an 
interesting example. But I'd like to keep your layer and structure.
