Heavy acid torpedo is a weapon that can counter Hybrid resistance excluding shield need heavy nerf.

Damage 600 to 400

Heavy laser beam M2 progressive damage is very low compared with base damage (50 and 200) the difference of damage nearly unnoticable after 3 sec.

Progressive damage 50 to 75-100

Agree with the beam buff, but acid torpedo is fine as it is, I have little to no trouble dealing with those (and corrosive weapons are rare, I think the acid torpedo is the most powerful of them all, so maybe it is a little bit overpowered ?) edit: I think the beam need no dmg buff, but rather range or energy consumsion reduction.

Oh yeah forgot the range, same range like HLC but more nine slot. Energy reducing is not different with increasing dmg because you know High Energy Focus.

HAT too over power because many ship using resistance armor and perk, Corrosive can penetrate any resistance except for Energy Shield and very high hp. People just spam it on some battleship and Capital ship because too op.

Energy consumsion reduction is much more useful than pure dmg increase, well, you can put range master unit or use energy reduction golden perk on the beam to save slot for energy cell. Yeah, agree that people can spam that acid torpedo, but with a high cost, energy, but that is the past, now, with the introduction of that -50% energy but no reload time (0.1 or so) for energy generation modifier, people sure abused a lot of insanely overpowered combo. But, normally, I see a lot of pure armor or pure shield builds on the leader board, welp, maybe an indirect nerf to corrosive weapon by make all resistance armor receive 10% of corrosive dmg, instead of none, that way, acid torpedo dmg doesn't change for pure armor build.

And by the way, energy comsumsion reduction is useful on some small ship with little to no slot for energy cell, I put neutron cutter on a crab, it is too funny. (is neutron cutter bugged ?, it consume 0 energy)

All resistance Will take 100% Corrosive damage With low hp it can wreck quickly

Hp Armor Will take 100% Corrosive damage but with high hp it can withstand longer time

Energy Shield Will take 10% Corrosive damage, the downside is very hard to get more Shield with basic module except for SB Mk2 and Velez. Will take 100% Kinetic, Heat, and Energy damage.

Why nerf HAT? It only does full damage if a ship stays inside green cloud for long time. Right now, ships are so fast that HAT is almost useless against them.

Well you didn't know about full upgrade HAT with 6500% bonus attack and High Energy Focus can melt any defense in arena. While Shield can be countered by ship using normal damage.

I am in top10 and i fight against other top players, i also use HAT. And trust me, it doesn't easily destroy starbases.
