content/utility of the navigation bar #27

This isn't too important but just want to flag it.

The way the navigation bar looks changes quite a bit from the home page to the subpages.

When you click on "track gene" or "track term" you get a very stripped down version of the gene or term pages. So the "track a gene" page includes the side panel on "terms annotated in selected edition" which is kinda weird. Not a big deal. The way the species selection interacts with this is also a bit weird (there is another issue filed related to the species selection).

There is no "About" page nor "Help" - we should add that to the nav bar - it's been mentioned but just want to make sure we don't forget.

I'm not sure exactly how to address this best without generating a bunch of work.

(also: "Write the gene symbol to visualize:" on the "track a gene form" is not exactly grammatically correct)
