Battery power diode
There is a diode to prevent the battery from charging directly from VBUS. This should be a Schottky. Minimize voltage drop and power loss.
Battery voltage diode
I've added a diode in series with the battery for voltage measurement. The idea is that the diode will drop the voltage into the measurable range. I think this is better than a voltage divider.
