You need to check if the battery has internal protection chip. If not you might want to add a polyfuse to protect the circuitry.

BL-5C datasheet added to repo. Let's leave the fuse in there just in case. Closing for now. Opened BL-5C internal protection question. See https://github.com/PaxInstruments/t400-electronics/issues/46

The fuse does not need to be there. Let's still keep it just in case. It can be removed if board space is needed of for another reason. https://github.com/PaxInstruments/t400-electronics/issues/46#issuecomment-54094671
