Full sized SD card #95

With the PCB and and LCD as they stand today, we cannot add a full sized SD card to the LSD side.

Here you can see the LCD lined up with the PCB img_20141218_185458

With the current arrangement a full sized SD card slot would not fit. img_20141218_185525

Notice that the SD card slot would interfere with the LCD standoff. img_20141218_185525

It is possible to use a full sized SD card slot if we had a custom cable. The cable just needs to be nudged over to the side a bit. So close. SO CLOSE!!! :-( img_20141218_185705

The full sized SD card slot is not going to happen on the T400. I am changing the LCD cable to use 1.0 mm pitch rather than the 0.5 mm pitch it has now. I am not changing the position of the connector, so there is no way to make room for the SD card. Oh well :-(
