Pressing the graph and backlight buttons then pressing power will put the T400 into bootloader mode. Then there is a delay before going into T400 mode. This can cause a problem if these buttons are accidentally pressed while the user is turning on the T400. This will give the impression that the device is broken.
It would be better to have the device break out of bootloader mode immediately when the graph or backlight buttons are release unless firmware is being uploaded.
