Would be useful to be able to send messages through bot detector because constantly alt-tabbing (with single screen) is pretty annoying

What's a specific example of this "message sending"?

You know, text chat, but in tool, it's already displayed there, why don't just use it if you need

Yea, that makes sense. Similar to votekicking from the program's scoreboard, even if it already exists in TF2 itself.
