Design Scope

Design a wide-spectrum controllable LED lighting system.

Deliverables

Outline the implementation prototype and its components:

• [x] LEDs (types, quantity)
• [x] LED Drivers - NLDD series
• [x] Topology Adaptation, Fusion 360 EDA
  • [x] Multiple LED-only daughter boards, wired in series
    • [x] Two 6-pin (5 LED + GND) Molex Micro-Lock PLUS connectors (one +, one -)
    • [X] How many LEDs per series per daughterboard? 3 per series
    • [x] Power Route Widths
  • [x] Single power board
    • [x] Voltage requirements for all LEDs in series? 4 boards = 12 LEDs, max. ~38V for blue
    • [x] Power Route Widths
  • [x] Pull-down resistors on master control board for each PWM
• [x] Lighting performance enhancement (diffusion/lenses)

Requirements

List any applicable metrics with criteria/constraints:

1. Covers maximum possible PAR requirement
2. Spectrum range from near-UV to near-IR
3. Intensity from off to welding arc

Correction: they are not being phased out, i'm just an idiot. There are tons of CREE options on DigiKey. Might have to do a more rigorous selection process.
