Impakt is currently working towards a partnership with NYU to help build out tools for researching ethical purchasing patterns among users.
This proof of concept can form the basis for future Impakt development. When further backend development is ready to proceed for Impakt, this work can be forked to allow for differentiation and customization between the current Impakt product, and the ones used by NYU. Until then, it makes sense to join Impakt's development efforts with the research, funding, and user testing provided by the NYU partnership.
This branch will be launched onto https://impakt.app and used as the backend for the research version of the chrome extension.
