Search for "site" does not work #120

On the main site (www.betydb.org), the search box for sites (www.betydb.org/sites) does not work.

After typing in a search and hitting enter, the following error is displayed:

"We're sorry, but something went wrong. We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly."

Two notes:

this is likely related to issues with PostGIS in BETYdb 3.1 (#96, RM-1694). Assigned to @robkooper, who led PostGIS implementation for confirmation / insight.
this message is unhelpful ("we're sorry") and will be addressed in RM-2404.

I'm not as sure that this has anything to do with Rob adding GEOMETRY since this is just one of many tables in BETY where search doesn't work.

Sites searches should now be working on the betydb.org site except that I've temporarily disabled searching by longitude and latitude. The only other pages I found where searches didn't work were four pages under the Runs tab (Ensembles, Inputs, Runs, and Workflows). I think problems with these pre-date the recent changes. Let me know if you find other pages where searches don't work.

search is working on main pages. Create a new issue with specific examples of searches not working if needed.
