A major update, 'Say, Pi' v1.5.0 unlocks increased speed, accuracy, reliability, and flexibility.
It takes advantage of multiple new transcription pipelines in the backend API, requested through the prefer API parameter.
Users can select their preference for speed vs accuracy through a popup activated by the action button in the Chrome/Edge browser extension.
Users on other platforms (i.e. userscript) will not have the option to select their preference and will default to the balanced pipeline.
User settings are synced across browsers if the user has multiple Chrome/Edge instances on other devices.
