Despite the meme title, I find this a cool idea for TubeMod. An option to make the subscribe button red again, how it used to be (Red with white text when unsubscribed, grey with white text when subscribed) And perhaps an advanced option to make the button any hex color, with red as the default when the option is enabled Changing the color could be placed in a submenu, as well as an integration with a user-defied theme, that applies colors to other future theming options.

However, for now a simple toggle to make it red should work fine, since the above is more a complex suggestion, So something simple for the time being would be great!

Hey, @ItzELECTR0 ! Looks like it's the perfect time to introduce "Themes" of sort on TubeMod. I'll see what I can do in the next couple of days. PS: I also hate these new YouTube colors 😄

If you do introduce themes it will be the greatest update this extension gets.

Before I moved to Firefox I was using OperaGX, and there was this mod which made the whole website fully match the theme of the browser, regardless of said theme.

Here's how it looks:

There is also this custom firefox theme which I use because I love the design of GX and just couldn't leave it behind. However, there is nothing to reproduce the YoutubeGX mod on Firefox, or other chromium browsers.

Here's how it looks:

If TubeMod can some day do anything similar to that, which also works on firefox (or other browsers than OperaGX) that would absolutely AMAZING!

I found something interesting on the firefox side of what I was saying above. I came across this extension named GX Mods which, as the name implies, ports OperaGX mods to Firefox. I was able to install YoutubeGX with that and I was amazed at how well it worked. There were lots of small issues, that was a given. But the fact that it worked at all was quite the feat in itself.

Here's now it looks: image image

It's basically what I imagine when I think about theming with TubeMod, but with more accent color, like the like button or the notifications button, as well as sidebar logos. I hope that helps!
