Initial Tasks

1. Upload the data to a public storage location that can be accessed by a URL
2. Create a post that discusses where the data is hosted.
3. Create Visualizations that illustrate the dataset's contents
   • You may not need links to every file. Sometimes a directory or set will suffice.
   • Make visualizations to show different modes or representations of the data. Different viewers will observe images differently.
4. Host the images somewhere and snag their urls.
5. Place public URLs into the YAML front matter
6. Provide context to the data that will describe its model or experimental parameters and other salient metadata or prior knowledge.

   Other Things to Share

Codes can be hosted in the project repo or as a gist.

• Codes used
  • Read the data
  • Visualize the data
  • Compute statistics on the data
• Other uses of the data
• Salient References.

I have 40 .oim files for EBSD data and even after compressing in zip folder folder size is still 2.5 GB, where can I upload this data? dropbox allows only 2GB

Write now, I expect y'all should be working on

1. only a few of those images or
2. subsets of all the images

Let's worry about the complete data storage later. It is entirely possible that you won't be using all the data after we noticed some of it could be corrupted.
