File icon is not saved if it's a new file

Steps

1. Go to a file created by another user which doesn't have a thumbnail
2. Click on the thumbnail button
3. Click save button.
4. Then it will prompt the login popup. Enter credentials.

it would save the new file without the thumbnail.
