[Bug] Easy Communication OFF Options doesn't manage Communication properly in Huey #36

I'm flying Huey. Everything works fine when EasyComm is ON

When OFF the communication menu doesn't appear when I press TX6 and say Options.

After clicking many times TX1, TX2, ..., TX6 it appears but if I say Take 1 (for instance) it disappears again and entire process of managing Comm Menu via Options, Take 1, ecc. is disrupted.

I've cleaned the system, uninstalled VAICOM and then reinstalled but no joy.

Sorry, probably my misunderstanding of the manual. If I set DIAL OPER (Selector Dial Automatic) everything runs smoothly even with Easy Communication OFF. Thanks.

Nope. Flying Huey with Easy Comm OFF prevent interacting with Comm Menu via Options, Take 1, etc.

No, Vaicom shows that we are in Easy Comm OFF. The problem is that when flying Huey SP mission with Easy Comm OFF then calling Options doesn'T show the Comm Menu. After clicking Tx buttons many tiMES it randomly appears but you cannot interact because as soon as you touch Tx it closes. Also voice calls to ATC is buggy. no problem when using Easy Comm instead.

Rereading your new description, I see this is a different issue one thats been around since vaicom came out. This is a known vaicom interaction issue with the Huey I believe.

Please post your vaicom settings, PTT window, and your log when the issue occurs.

Next time please follow the submitting guidelines when posting a bug so we have all pertinent information.

Hi, don't know if this can help: when I fly Huey with Easy Comms off I cannot have Options and Select commands work. I noticed though that if I switch the radio selector to Interphone then everything runs smoothly even with Easy Comms off. That's my workaround so far. In P51D instead I cannot do anything even if I select other channels. It's a pity because many SP missions requires to access Menu to select F10 commands.
