[REQUEST] "recepient not a Supercarrier unit" with Forrestal + SC module installed #55

Closed clutchtomcat closed 11 months ago

clutchtomcat commented 1 year ago

Users with Supercarrier module installed have Supercarrier communcations enabled for freeware carriers (Forrestal, Stennis). Expected behavior is that Supercarrier commands in VAICOM work with as normal with Forrestal and Stennis.

Currently user is unable to proceed with other communications after initial inbound call because VAICOM does not detect unlocked Supercarrier communcations on non-Supercarrier units.

This was added to DCS after development on VAICOM stopped, so this is not a bug, but rather a requested feature that should be looked into being added.

If possible, could you change your title to reflect its a feature that should be added?

Would be a great QoL improvement for Tomcat drivers using the Forrestal. For now it works as a 1-ship in CASE I thanks to the automated calls after inbound. Unfortunately it's hard broke when flying with a wingman or in CASE III.

I assume it works going through the menu items but I haven't tested.

This has been implemented in V2.8.7.0. Happy Forrestal traps!
