This should be fixed in Beta v 2.8.2.5. Waiting for feedback to close.
I have this issue in the Mossie on 2.8.2.5
Hi,
Thanks for letting me know about the fix for KA50, I'll retest the beta ver and revert with the outcome.
Regards,
Steven

DCS OB with latest patch 2.8.4.39731 released on Apr 4th '23. Multi-threading mode: Yes
I retested Vaicom Pro Community Beta Ver for KA50 BS3
Issue 1: AI Comms menu
a. Make sure "Allow Options" is ticked (selected) in the config menu (alt + Ctrl + C).
b. While the helo is on the ground, press PTT e.g. TX1 or any TX to begin transmit, say "Options" will pop the AI menu. Do not release the PTT yet, continue with e.g. "Take 1" or "Take 2" - Result: OK
c. While the helo is airborne anything above 3 meters (just a few feet up in the air will do), press e.g. TX1 to begin transmit, say "Options", AI menu does not pop unless manually press keyboard "Alt + \" several times repeatedly. - Result: NOT OK
Issue 2: Kneeboard
a. While the helo is on the ground, press PTT e.g. TX1 or any TX to begin transmit, say "Kneeboard" and continue with page command. Result: OK
b. While the helo is airborne a few meters/feet will do, press PTT, say "Kneeboard" but nothing happens, does not pop. Press keyboard "Alt + \" several times repeatedly will cause it to finally pop. Result: NOT OK
Summary
It's unfortunate that the reported issues continue to persist, not fixed....
Fixed in next release
Describe the bug
DCS OB version 2.8.2.35759 Vaicom version 2.8.1.1
Tested in KA50 BS3 - Vaicom although recognizes the "Options" command but pop the AI comms menu. I did not assign keyboard bindings to either "Alt + \" and "\".
Tested in Mi-24 - This issue does not occur here, works fine 100%.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
In summary, it appears that whenever Vaicom is running, it prevents the ai comms menu from displaying.
Expected behavior
Isssuing "Options" command should bring up the ai comms menu.
