Summary

Especially when doing --job-test there is no need to wait for entire minute -- job quickly starts or fails.

I think it would be better to be more "dynamic" in checking, e.g.

check each second for the first 10 seconds
check each 10 seconds until 1 minute reached
check each minute

and thus just report "Will check the test job's periodically (each minute after 1 minute)" or alike
