We found that when running xcpengine, the cpu usage most of the time is at 1cpu. However, there are brief seconds when the cpu usages peak and run on all cpus available in the compute node. I have attached a picture showing 76 cpus were used briefly. I am wondering if it's possible to specify max cpus for the job since we are using a shared space. Jobs using more resource than specified will be terminated by the batch system.
