What about you can just add any number of arbitrary things to the "hero" side and any number of arbitrary things to the "enemy" side and choose a season (or all seasons) et voila?

We could use the same typeahead as we use for search to add the things and have a reacty UI to show you all what you've added so far.

The handling of the query would need to be made more complicated and the UI should probably tell you when things you have chosen are mutually exclusive but it doesn't seem that far out.

The page is 1.6MB and only growing if we don't do something like this
