6 years ago I have this but I'm a bit worried it's too similar to last month's. Maybe I should cut down on the unchanged stuff. But really the purpose here is to be the first thing someone reads about PD so those sections do make sense.
Penny Dreadful is an ultra-budget MTGO format with over 10,000 legal cards (that all cost one cent). The format rotates on each new standard set release date so it doesn't get stale. More about how the format works at https://pennydreadfulmagic.com/about/pd/
The sixth season of Penny Dreadful is two months old with a month still to play so it's time to check in with /r/magicTCG and let you know what's been happening.
This season so far we've seen more of the following:

These have all been played in at least 100 tournament decks.
Mono White Heroic has replaced Soldiers Tribal as the white aggro deck of choice. The Thopter-Depths of the format is now Hyperwave (combining Felidar Guardian-Parallax Wave with Hypergenesis). Reanimator has risen to tier 1. New archetypes have emerged like Dimir Graves which uses Zombie Infestation with Veilborn Ghoul, Buried Alive and madness cards.
We've seen success from archetypes known from elsewhere in Magic (Mono Black Control, White Weenie, Hypergenesis, Reanimator, UW Control, Red Deck Wins) and some that are our very own (Rogue Tribal, Mardu Aristocrats, Dimir Allies, Odric Keywords)

**Tournaments**
Tournaments are Monday and Thursday evening (US time) and more Europe-friendly Saturday and Sunday morning US/evening Europe. All these tournaments are free-to-enter and give prizes in bot credit from our sponsors Cardhoarder. It's the only format where winning a tournament gets you enough money to buy the 5 or 6 top decks in the format!

This season we're be offering prizes to the top performers over the whole season as well as individual tournament top 8 finishes.
**PDBot**
PDBot is an MTGO bot that joins PD games as a watcher and checks card legality and reports league results automatically. You can also message it if you want to drop from a league run or send it various commands to explain PD and other goodness.

**OK, That's Nice**
So why am I telling you all this? Things are motoring in the sixth season of Penny Dreadful. Hypergenesis, Animate Dead, Chain Lightning and Cruel Ultimatum are all legal. You can reanimate a Bogardan Hellkite on turn 2 or get infinite ETB triggers on turn 4 or beat down with Isamaru. And that's before exploring all the crazy interactions in the giant card pool like Saproling Burst + Pandemonium or Hermit Druid or the Cephalid Breakfast combo. We want you to join in the fun!
