Or we could use someone else's custom code like this (https://github.com/valendres/react-discord-widget):

Or we could use the JSON to create something with our own look and feel. I think that maybe it's better to look like discord so that (some) people instantly recognize what it is?

As far as the Discord logo is there, I think there's no problem to change the look and feel to be closer to ours.
