I don't think it ever did on prod. We seem to be eternally rate-limited from there. Or something we're describing as rate-limiting that is actually some other failure.

Ok somehow the search api for our cse_key was turned off. I turned it back on and it works for me on dev and prod now. Let's see how it goes …
