headset microphone, muted when calling, other 7x30 devices have the same issue

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Plug headphones in
2. Place or receive a call
3. Having to tap speaker twice to fix headset microphone

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Headset microphone is expected to work in call,
Nobody can hear me speaking
logcat attachment, place outgoing callwith headset in, press speaker twice to 
fix the muted microphone

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
HTC sensation xl, msm7x30
Qualcomm
kernel uses qdsp5v2_2x
