Those are not warnings\, just my messages to prove "compile" is doing the right files.

They *are* warnings since they are data dribbled into stderr by warn(). I changed the warn() into a print().

Sigh. The reason they were warns was to sent them to stderr\, so that compile can evolve into a filter and have its output redirected. I will change them to something like :
print STDERR ... if $opt{'v'};

Yeah\, yeah\, yeah\, but they are on STDERR. And until a few patches ago\, it was called "S encoded". I'm using a script to build perl with several configure options\, but don't plan to add AI to it. So\, if people misuse STDERR for progress reports\, expect false negatives every now and then.
