From Sajiv.Sarin@stratus.com

Also perlbug gave me the following error when trying to send the email: Died at C:/Perl/site/lib/Mail/Mailer.pm line 290\, \ line 1.

This is a bug report for perl from \mailto:sajiv\.sarin@stratus\.com sajiv.sarin@stratus.com\, generated with the help of perlbug 1.33 running under perl v5.6.1.

----------------------------------------------------------------- I was getting an error when I was trying to dave my profile in PPM3. The error is:

ppm> profile save Error: profile_save exception: 500 read timeout at C:/Perl/site/lib/PPM/Repository/PPM3Server.pm line 220

My rep list is as follows:

[1] ActiveState PPM2 Repository [ ] ActiveState Package Repository

ppm> rep describe Describing Active Repository 1:   Name: ActiveState PPM2 Repository Location: http://ppm.ActiveState.com/cgibin/PPM/ppmserver.pl?urn:/PPMServer \<http://ppm.ActiveState.com/cgibin/PPM/ppmserver.pl?urn:/PPMServer>   Type: PPMServer 2.0

ppm> rep describe "ActiveState Package Repository" Describing Inactive Repository:   Name: ActiveState Package Repository Location: http://ppm-ia.ActiveState.com/PPM/ppmserver.plex?urn:/PPM/Server/SQL \<http://ppm-ia.ActiveState.com/PPM/ppmserver.plex?urn:/PPM/Server/SQL>   Type: PPMServer 3.0

I have tried the PPMServer 3.0 as well as the 2.0 The only one that seems to work is 2.0.

I need help on how to add repositories as well.

Thanks\,

Sajiv

Thank you for your report but PPM is an ActiveState production and not maintained by p5p. ActiveState has its own bug tracker here: http://bugs.activestate.com/query.cgi?set_product=ActivePerl
