The ink screen driver library cannot modify SPI pin definition this time， He can only use the system default GPIO 18 and GPIO 23（esp32）. But I found a company： Dalian Jiaxian（大连佳显）, their program can perfectly adapt to your 2.13 e-paper. Maybe you can read and learn from their programs to provide better service. In the end, I still hope you can make a separate warehouse for the old version of the program. Because many people are just beginning to learn, they can't well understand the horizontal driving process of big libraries

I am Chinese, so I can only use Chinese to ENGLISH to communicate with you. If you find something wrong, you can remind me (If you can use Chinese, best to use Chinese)

One of the two e paper I bought from your company can't display normally. Its COG is very hot. Like using an internal short circuit

Thanks for your comments. Different EPD made by different manufacturer cannot be driven with the same code due to different driver IC. Please do not use other code to work with our EPD, vice versa. The CoG of China 2.13" EPD is UC8151D (very old version actually) which is NOT the same CoG of our 2.13". Pervasive Displays provides our own driving waveform with our certified driver IC (CoG) to assure the best quality. If the COG was hot in your case, please make sure you are connecting with our development kit and correct pinouts, otherwise the CoG never got hot. Thanks.

Hi, if you will drive the EPD with global update, the code in this repository is the same as previous follows our application guide (BW or BWR) which is never changed. I don't understand what you meant of the CoG was hot.

uc8151 vs. our driver VGH: +16V vs.+10V to +20V VGL: -16V vs. -10V to -20V VDH: +2.4V to -11V vs. +2.4V to +15V VDL: -2.4V to -11V vs. -2.4V to -15V The voltage settings before driving both EPDs are different. Of course the CoG was hot. Again, please do not use other kit and waveform to drive with different vendor's EPD, even you see it does well refresh. Thanks.

thank you. I use the same board,but it can drive 1`54inch E-paper from your company. Maybe the E-paper is borken?

Global update will just call the embedded LUT to refresh screen which is just a command. Normally, most of driving boards could work if the pinouts are the same. When you need partial update or special driving that needs external LUT or command index, it's CoG driver dependent.

Thank you for your reply But I found a larger ink screen. It has many driving cases in China. This screen is driving me crazy😓 I bought your screen through overseas purchasing， It only cost three yuan. I thought it was very cheap, but I found that there was no mature driver case........

OK, here is the screen I bought. Well, in fact, I bought your company's screen from an overseas agent. I used a 50 yuan coupon to buy this screen for three yuan。。。 I use your new program completely. Since it turned black, itIMG_20220309_123848.jpg has been no reaction
