Project name: TeaCozy Grade: Exceeds Expectations

Summary: Well done here, your code is both functional and well organized, meeting our spec and easy to read. Both functionality and readability are about equally crucial in the programming world, and you seem to have paid sufficient attention to both, so well done! 👍

For future projects, try throwing in your own little bits of style to dress up the site and personalize it. It's good to practice design along with functional code, so use these templates as an opportunity to try some things. http://www.webdesign-inspiration.com/web-designs/style/modern

Hi Emik,

Many thanks for the positive review, plus your helpful suggestions.

In truth, I wasn't as happy with this submission as I was with my Unit 2 "Dasmoto's Arts & Crafts" one. This is partly because things have got more technical and I didn't feel as confident in my level of understanding of the new stuff (FlexBox, etc.) for this latest project as I did for the Dasmoto one, but also because I am working full-time whilst also doing this course, and through recent pressure of work I lost 9 days of progress with the course.

In fact, I only discovered that the submission date for the Tea Cozy project was 8th Nov when I first got to the project page on 6th Nov, so my final submission was very much a rush job! By the time I submitted I knew I'd got as far as creating a web page that looked pretty much like the required goal, but I also knew a) it wasn't perfect, and b) it wasn't as efficiently coded as perhaps it could have been. However, by the small hours of the morning of 9th Nov I felt I'd got about as far as I could, so I submitted it regardless.

I appreciate that the submission dates are not actually carved in stone, but I also knew that I didn't want to fall even further behind, and was keen to make up those 9 days by pressing ahead with the next Unit. Overall, I was prepared for a review that was less positive than that received for my Dasmato project, so to get the review you sent for my Tea Cozy project was extremely gratifying - many thanks again!
