code for Dragon Quest 8 doesn't seem to work #5

Game remains stuck at 25fps despite use of code. Not sure if it's an error on my end, but I've exhausted all known options.

The patch works fine, it just automatically switches to 25fps in scenes and fmv so they run at the correct speed. Could it be that you need to activate it from the corresponding pcsx2 tab?

It's still 25fps for me even with the Cheats setting enabled and outside of scenes/FMV. General gameplay remains 25fps, unlike your screenshot where it says 50fps. Maybe I messed up when it comes to putting the cheat in the folder? All I did was put the downloaded .pnach file in the Cheats folder and then enabled cheats in PCSX2.

edit: never mind! I see now that I had to go into the game's properties via PCSX2 and enable the patch in there rather than via the general config menu in PCSX2.

Great! I thought it would be something like that. However, if you find any bugs feel free to report them, have fun!. I close issue
