Final Fantasy XIII crashing #165

I just created this account to let you know an issue I am having. My computer is practically new, i5 4690K, GTX770 2GB + 8 GB RAM 1600Mhz, Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.

When the game initiates with the plugin on at fullscreen it will crash. If I deactivate it, then open the game and before the game shows on screen I activate the plugin, it works perfectly but it will not let me alt+tab.

Have you tryed starting the game up in windowed mode and use a progam to make it borderless https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38HK8aiIXzc This program fixed all my crashes and made it easyier to alt tab

I just did but the image looks kind of pixelated compared to running it in full screen mode. Am I missing something?

There is only a minor difference between borderless and full screen but on the good side borderless windowed makes it so esc no longer auto closes your game and you will no longer crash I can live with the minor pixel issue

I also just tested full screen and borderless to see the difference and i could not notice it tbh

I'm having some issues with fullscreen. If i try to set "forceBorderlessFullscreen true" the game crash. If I set "forceBorderlessFullscreen false" and then set the shortcut "-fullscreen" the game run in fullscreen but crash after i return to the game from an alt-tab.

I thought the program only would remove the border of a window, but don't scale up to fullscreen, not what I wanted. But after test it I saw I was wrong. tyvm, ancientflameg.

np, hopefully you will have no more issues as i'v not had a single issue using borderless windows.

Game also crashes when pressing the ctrl alt delete combo to bring up the processes menu. If you are fullscreen and a background popup happens, game crashes here too.

That never happens to me when i use borderless windows, if your using full screen don't its far to buggy and i would tell you to use borderless windows as it is full screen but its not in a way.
