GeDoSaTo Not Working. #377

Hello,

This is the first time I'm actually trying to use GeDoSaTo, but knowing that his isn't rocket science and that i can't seem to make it work after 2 hours of trying, I came here. Now then, I'm trying to run FF XIII on GeDoSaTo, I've tried downloading both newest and the old builds. These are the steps:

  1. Download
  2. Install
  3. Run it
  4. Edit Settings, I locate the FF XIII profile and swap the resolution to 1280 x 720.
  5. I change the keybinding of "show status" to VK_F1 because I'm on a laptop and I've got no numpad tasters.

The thing is, after I've entered the FF XIII (with GeDoSaTo running in the background) nothing happens, and pressing F1 doesn't show me the "status" of GeDoSaTo.

Check if the executable name matches the name in the whitelist exactly. If a log is generated in the logs folder then you got the whitelist right.

Also, keybinding doesn't work if the game itself uses the same key.

My system Locale is set to Japanese, display for non-unicode is also Japanese. I have tried GeDoSaTo with two Japanese game and got the following result:

One game with Japanese title and .exe file name, such as --> ゲーム.exe <--. No log is generated. One game, is also a Japanese game, but with English title and file name, such as --> GAME.exe <---. Log is generated, but there is nothing other than GeDoSaTo's install location, date time, and end with the line says "end".

Both game originally runs on about 800x600. In the config file, I have set renderResolution to 1280x960@30 (only that line), and whitelist both game. But they still launch with their original resolution.

I guess that currently, GeDoSaTo can't read Unicode character, but I don't know about the other game.
