Neither videos nor audios work at all. #51

When I try to run a video with the debug script, or just try to set up edgeware, it says "py" is not recognized as an internal or external command, program or executable batch file. Audios also wont play, and apparently only popups show for me now...?

What version of Python do you have?

BTW, on Windows, in the python installer, there is a checkbox to enable the "py" command.

You can try to reinstall python and/or check if python is in your path.

Don't know if the project is still maintained tbh

Id like to say that, videos and audio used to work (just without any audio or really bugged) before I deleted 3 python files from C: windows, but I wasnt able to re install them so I think thats why they dont work at all now.

Also, how can I exactly enable that checkbox...?

When installing you have the choose of "simple" / "custom" install. (installation via the installer of the website, idk for the one from the Windows store).

Did you try to run the .py/.pyw with the command "python"?

okayy, good and bad news. I got into trying to make it work again, and now it recognises python, and says that its succesfully installed. Now, bad news is, neither popups, videos or audios work at all now. Even tho the json files (web, captions, prompt...) DO work. When I installed python the pyw files didnt recognised it and I had to manually make them Open with: Pythonw.exe so maybe thats the fail...? should they open with other python thingie maybe?

First I'd like to ask if you tried to follow the step specified in the issue #47.

I don't think there should be need of another python thingy tho.

Bu if you could show logs or the output of the debug script if will be welcomed.

Hey, alredy fixed the problem with some help. It was a super random error on the popup.pyw code, but works alredy!

Yop this is what the explanation try to fix. Be sure that you replaced all of the ANTIALIAS or downgrade your PIL
