FYI, the failed documenter build is due to breaking changes for Documenter v1.0 https://github.com/PetrKryslUCSD/Sparspak.jl/commit/375cb380d2f0e530719dabf9c2fd51e4b9c2c8cf

Quick fixes are:

pin Documenter to v0 in docs/Project.jl via compat
pin Documenter to v1 in docs/Project.jl via compat and add warnonly=true to the makedocs kwargs

Otherwise I think we could make a "Internal API" section in the docs. I have no time for a PR until next weekend, unfortunately.
