Can someone please fork Duplicate Tabs Closer, update to manifest v3, and upload to Chrome Store please before the v2 extensions are permanently purged? Thanks!

Is there any update to the issue above? Now that Chrome is not going to do away with the cookies, does a manifest v3 update even matter now?

I forked it and put in a pull request (#88), but I'm not currently an Extension developer, and becoming one is a bit of a pain.

There is an alternative Manifest V3 compatible addon:
Clutter Free

@Bamajon1974 Not easily, which is why I recommended trying out an alternative extension to see if it will work for you.

It is the extension I myself use, and I find it closes duplicates more quickly.

But, if you don't like it, I could also give instructions on how to install the addon in Chrome without it being on the Web Store. It's not too hard.

Got it. I didn't realize Clutter Free had the paywall removed. I tried it out and it works well. Thank you for the suggestion!
