I've put in some "brute fix" code. I hope this will fix this issue.

I must note though:

The fix ONLY takes effect when appointing a new master to Jake, either in his human or fairy form. So if you suffer from this bug, you will keep suffering until you appoint a new master to Jake, that's the idea. I hope this will allow me to close this issue, but I will leave it open until the fix has been confirmed.
