Using this to make SteamOldGlory work. Sometimes it just stops working and i have to execute a new unziped instance of FriendsPatcher and delete the old one to make it work again. #22

Using this to make SteamOldGlory work. Sometimes it just stops working and i have to execute a new unziped instance of FriendsPatcher and delete the old one to make it work again.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "stops working?"

Does the patcher refuse to open? Does it open but not patch?

If the former, are you sure it isn't simply running in the background? Do you see the icon in your system tray?

Hey! SteamOldGlory only applies Ui changes to a patched steam. When i patch steam and then install a skin it all works fine. When I restart my Pc tho it stops changing the skin, until i delete SteamFriendsPatcher and reinstall it. Just opening the old version again results into starting the Cache watcher. Not sure if thats a problem with SteamOldGlory or SteamFriendsPatcher tho. Id of course like to have the skin working on itself after starting my pc. This problem appers on both my desktop and laptop. Thanks for any help!

Check the "Library CSS" entry in the patcher settings. It should currently be set to 6.css if you are on Steam beta or 5.css if you are on Steam stable. It's possible that the detection logic there is messing up for you hm

Hey! I used to just re-unzip the same version (1.40) and it didnt give me the option to choose css. Now that I've installed 1.41 i can choose css and it works. Thank you for your help and your great app! :)
