- https://github.com/sprintcube/cakephp-rest Good and lightweight, but doesn't use JSON API standard, doesn't appear configurable
- https://github.com/multidots/cakephp-rest-api Heavier, doesn't use JSON API standard, not configurable
- https://github.com/FriendsOfCake/crud-json-api Appears to only work with actions scaffolded by the CRUD plugin
- https://github.com/CakeDC/cakephp-api Awful documentation, doesn't use JSON API standard
Instead of replacing it, I've just forked it and fixed the deprecation warnings.
