In pack.json, deleting an asset, and then undoing the deletion updates the UI but does not actually revert the underlying json text.

I got here from clicking the link for "Report a problem" in PhaserEditor. So if there is a required structure, it isn't indicated.

Aside from that, version 1.5.4.20190529.
