These three were the oldest civilizations in North America (Anasazi), Mesoamerica (Olmec), and South America (Norte Chico).

Are we going to add them or leave the Americas blank?

Firesoul7 commented 8 years ago

Add them, eventually. At least I presume so. This won't be for quite a while though. On 11 Sep 2015 00:01, "PanzerfaustJoe" notifications@github.com wrote:

The Americas are not a priority. I'd say we leave them out of the initial release and focus more on the old world. They can be then added in a later update.

PhelanBavaria commented 8 years ago

I definitely would like to see them in, but I agree, probably in a later release, unless somebody feels bored and really wants to do them now.

I am not saying we do them soon. I was just asking if we are going to do them at all.

qweytr commented 8 years ago

Southeast Asia is already good enough for the first release and the Americas can be included later. Germania is the most important area that is still missing, so you can work on that if you have nothing else to do.

While this issue is open, we should discuss giving isolated countries (countries with no neighbors) more things to do to avoid bordem. The american and african tribes in extended timeline have this problem and it would be good for us to discuss this and see what we can come up with. Ideas?

fangwolf4 commented 8 years ago

there is no way to "avoid bordem" considering they were geographically isolated, that's why the American and Sub-Saharan tribes couldn't expand at all , they were pretty much boring considering those limiters.

Firesoul7 commented 8 years ago

New mechanics will be created for them specifically to prevent this. Rebellions, pilgrimages, trade, events, movement, etc On 21 Sep 2015 10:15, "fangwolf4" notifications@github.com wrote:

See? Firesoul has the right idea, they dont have to do any warring or serious expanding to make it interesting.
