[REQUEST]: Detect when user is far from collecting field and prompts to turn of geonav

Description

I have geonav logs that, upon inspection, are obviously instances where just forgot to turn off the log file. These clutter my storage folder and are hard to distinguish from real logs. Could geonav add a feature that detects when the user is X distance from the active field and prompts yes/no to turn of geonav?

Alternatives

I suppose giving a human readable name to the log files with field id and timestamp would also be helpful.
