Verify textbox does not allow text to be input from a Bluetooth barcode scanner #4

It apparently scans correctly when the soft keyboard is opened (via double tap of the edittext).

Can someone provide some more context about this?

And will I be needing a physical scanner device to test this?

I can test this once the current changes are implemented to see if it's still a problem
