Attempting to install on my Q1 pro. I can find the mainboard(qidi mks x7) as /dev/ttyS0 when searching as UART but I cannot see the toolhead board(A-7 v1.0) by any means. It does not show as USB or UART. In the Qidi config it lists the toolhead board as serial: /dev/ttyS2. I also cannot perform ls /dev/serial/by-id/ due to error ls: cannot access '/dev/serial/by-id/': No such file or directory. Can I provide anything to help? This is a complete different printer series, so my tutorial does not match - even if there might be several similar components.

Have you tried to comment out the "serial" in the printer configs? You will get an error in the webif, but klipper blocks devices that being listed in the printer.cfg (and the includes).

Closed by inactivity and mismatching printer model.
