thanks for reporting this.

i dont have access to a 64-bit machine, so it might be awhile before i can test
this.
however, i will post it to the discussion group and ask some other people who
are
running GFW on 64-bit machines to test it out for me.

does it happen every time your computer resumes, or intermittently?

It happens on every resume. Additionally, I cannot change the display type
because it
reverts to visor on every crashes.

It happens to me too. I mean, on Windows 7 RC, GFW crashes when I resume from
sleep.
I have to restart it.

give the RC1 version a try:
http://www.growlforwindows.com/gfw/d.ashx?f=Growl_v2.0rc1.zip

i cant say for sure that it fixes it (since i cannot duplicate the
error), but did make big changes related to how dnssd.dll is used and
i am looking for feedback on it. please try it out and let me know
your results.

I tried with the RC1 and the issue seems resolved on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I
cannot
confirm for vista though (I've changed my OS).

i have had a few other people report that the crash is gone, so i am going to
close
this issue. if it pops up again, i will start a new ticket.
